Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Companionship for Your Journey

A quiet place to slow down, notice where God is already moving, and learn to respond to His nearness in the middle of everyday life.

What is Spiritual Direction?

Tuning In to What God Is Already Doing

Spiritual Direction is an ancient, Spirit-led form of spiritual companionship designed to cultivate deeper connection and intimacy with God.

It is not counseling, coaching, or mentoring, and it is not a replacement for any of them. When you need a counselor or a doctor, direction walks beside that care rather than taking its place. What it offers is a holy pause. Together with a director and the Holy Spirit, you pay attention to how God is already at work in your life, even in the stretches when He feels quiet.

Over time, people often notice the fruit of it: a deeper relationship with God, a clearer sense of His presence and voice, and more freedom to follow Jesus in the way you were made to.

"Spiritual direction is cultivated awareness that God has already seized the initiative. God has been working diligently, redemptively, and strategically before I appeared on the scene, before I was aware there was something here for me to do."
Eugene Peterson, The Contemplative Pastor

In our time together, we step back from striving and listen for where God has already gone ahead of you.

A Space Where Your Soul Can Breathe

Many people love God and still reach a point where the usual answers and the well-worn routines stop feeding them. This is a safe, unhurried place to land. It may be for you if you are:

In a wilderness or a time of change. You feel disoriented, you are facing a major turn, or God has grown quiet and you are not sure why.

Growing in prophetic maturity. You are carrying dreams, impressions, or prophetic experiences, and you want a grounded place to test them, hold them with open hands, and learn to steward them well.

Open to inner healing. You sense the Lord wanting to reach the tender, hidden places and make them whole, gently and at your own pace.

Hungry for more. You feel a steady pull toward depth, stillness, and a life that fits how God made you.

You do not have to walk the quiet undercurrents of your spiritual life alone. Whether you are questioning, resting, rebuilding, or simply listening, you are welcome here.

What to Expect

Stepping into spiritual direction takes trust. Here is how our time is shaped, so you can begin with peace.

What we do. Each session runs just under an hour and opens and closes with prayer. There is no fixed agenda. We might read a short passage of Scripture, sit in silence for a few minutes, and talk openly about where you are noticing God in your everyday life.

How we meet. Sessions are online, by secure video or phone, so you can take part from somewhere quiet and familiar.

How often. Formation happens slowly, so most people meet once a month. The space between sessions gives your soul room to rest, respond, and live out what you noticed.

Confidentiality. Your story is sacred. What you share stays in confidence.

"As a spiritual director, I see myself as a companion to people on their journeys. As a companion, I accompany others who become more fully who they have been created to be, sinking their roots deep into the living waters of God's grace and bearing fruit in the world."
