Spiritual Direction
Spiritual companionship for your journey
“A spiritual kingdom lies all about us, enclosing us, embracing us, altogether within reach of our inner selves, waiting for us to recognize it. God Himself is here waiting our response to His Presence.”
A.W. Towzer, The Pursuit of God
What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual Direction is a Spirit-led form of pastoral care that cultivates connection and intimacy with God. Desired fruit can include a deeper relationship with God, greater awareness of His presence and voice, and becoming more free to follow Jesus in greater alignment with how you were created.
It is a great space to process discernment and prophetic experiences, receive inner healing from the Lord, lean into the Lord during transitions or wilderness seasons, or seek the presence and leading of God in any season.

TUning in to the activity of God
Spiritual direction “is cultivated awareness that God has already seized the initiative. God has been working diligently, redemptively, and strategically before I appeared on the scene, before I was aware there was something here for me to do.”
Eugene Peterson
The Contemplative Pastor
“Spiritual direction is a prayer process in which a person seeking help in cultivating a deeper personal relationship with God meets with another for prayer and conversation that is focused on increasing awareness of God in the midst of life experiences.”
David Benner

Spiritual Companionship for the journey
“As a spiritual director, I see myself as a companion to people on their journeys. As a companion, I accompany others who become more fully who they have been created to be, sinking their roots deep into the living waters of God’s grace and bearing fruit in the world.”
Susan S. Phillips
